In our daily lives, we often use various products for laundry, cleaning furniture, surfaces, and personal hygiene. Unfortunately, many of these products are laden with chemicals that are toxic and environmentally harmful.

Fortunately, there are natural remedies that can replace these products while achieving similar results. In this article, we’ll guide you on preparing a 100% organic and natural insecticide and fungicide.

In gardens or on balconies, plants can often become infested with insects. These unwelcome guests, besides being annoying, can also compromise the growth and development of the plant.

For this purpose, we recommend the recipe for garlic alcohol, a natural insecticide that will help keep insects away from your plants.

To prepare a half-liter bottle, you’ll need 5 or 6 garlic cloves, water, white alcohol (70 or 90 proof), and a few drops of biodegradable dish soap.

Crush the garlic cloves and place them in the bottle, then fill it halfway with water and halfway with alcohol. Add the drops of dish soap and shake gently.

Let it steep for a few hours, then spray it directly on the plants. This alcohol and garlic-based insecticide works against fleas, ants, wasps, ladybugs, and flies.

The natural insecticide can last for several weeks if stored in a dark and cool place (not in the fridge).

Garlic possesses insecticidal, repellent, and fungicidal properties, while alcohol helps extract all the beneficial properties of garlic. With this natural solution, you can protect your plants without resorting to harmful chemicals.
