In this guide, we’ll show you how to make the jade plant, commonly known as the money tree, bloom. This plant belongs botanically to the Crassulaceae family. According to the ancient oriental art of Feng Shui, the crassula is believed to attract economic prosperity.
It’s an evergreen plant that’s relatively easy to keep indoors, making it a popular choice in many apartments. Whether it truly brings money, we can’t say for sure. What is certain, however, is that it gifts us with incredibly beautiful flowers.
Its leaves grow rapidly, and to nurture it best, you shouldn’t overwater it. Excessive humidity can harm the plant.
Blossoming Tips: Sunlight, Temperature, and Fertilizer
To encourage flowering, you don’t need to do much. Just place the plant where it can enjoy sunlight, preferably with a north-facing exposure. As for temperature, keep it between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius.
For a little extra boost, you can create a DIY fertilizer by dissolving two grams of phosphate in three liters of water. Mix it well and use this solution to water the plant.
To further stimulate flowering, you can mist it with succinic acid. Dissolve a couple of 100-milligram tablets in a liter of warm water, then spray this mix on the leaves.
