Your home is your castle, and it should be as welcoming and fragrant as possible. Have you ever thought about planting a lemon in a cup? Here’s a cute way to recycle the seeds of a lemon.

How to Plant a Lemon in a Cup: Keep Your Home Always Fragrant
We spend our moments of relaxation and rest at home, so it’s important that our surroundings convey calmness and serenity. It’s also a matter of health.

Among the things that can spoil our pleasure of spending time at home are unpleasant odors. Getting rid of them is a way to keep the home environment clean, which also means more peaceful and relaxing.

A great way to chase away bad odors is to plant a lemon: you can start with a simple cup and humble lemon seeds. Then, with a lot of patience and care, you can enjoy the fragrance of a beautiful lemon plant. The scent of lemon, among other things, also improves sleep quality.

Let’s see how to proceed.

The “ingredients” you’ll need are: seeds from an organic lemon, a bit of soil, a cup or a pot, small pebbles, tweezers, water, and paper towels.

Firstly, soak the lemon seeds in a bit of water for about an hour. This helps remove any pulp residue from the seeds. After this step, dry the seeds on paper towels and use tweezers to remove any additional bits of pulp that may have remained.

Next, immerse the seeds again in a jar of water and let them soak for at least two days until they start to sprout.

After the two days, you’ll need to fill with soil: take the sprouted seeds and delicately “plant” them in the soil.

Now, all that’s left is to place the cup in a sunny spot and water it whenever necessary. In summer, watering will need to be more frequent than in winter.

At this point, arm yourself with patience and wait for the plant to sprout and blossom.
